Goods you are NOT ALLOWED to Send
The following items are strictly prohibited from being sent using our services. Violations of these restrictions may result in legal prosecution by the relevant authorities, leading to substantial fines and/or imprisonment. Additionally, the shipper may be held responsible for any damages or loss of property arising from the shipment of prohibited goods, as well as any costs incurred for the disposal of such items.
- Alcohol (either beverages or medical)
- Animals (including insects, hatching eggs, taxidermy)
- Batteries (high powered lithium based)
- Biological substances/samples
- Corrosives (including dyes, acids, corrosive paint, rust removers, caustic soda, mercury and gallium metal)
- Counterfeit or pirated goods
- Currency/Money
- Dangerous goods, hazardous or combustible materials1
- Drugs and narcotics (controlled, unlicensed or illegal drugs & narcotics)
- Explosives (including fireworks, flares, blasting caps, party poppers)
- E-cigarettes, vape pens
- Firearms, weapons, ammunition (including replicas)
- Flammable solids (including magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, sodium, zinc powder and fire lighters)
- Gases, including flammable, non-flammable, toxic and compressed gases (gas cylinders containing: ethane, butane, refills for lighters, fire extinguishers, full scuba tanks, life jackets, nitrogen dioxide and carbon dioxide canisters including culinary foaming devices & soda stream).Human remains (including ashes)
- Gas mask
- High value items or articles of exceptional value (e.g. bullion, currency of any kind, precious metals and stones, gold and silver, including personal coin collections, ingots, jewellery, antiques and watches valued over US$1,000, works of art valued more than US$10,000)
- Human or animal remains or ashes
- Infectious substances and pathogens
- Negotiable documents (including Passports, Driving Licences etc.).
- Obscene publications and pornographic materials
- Poisons, toxic liquids, solids and gases (including substances that are liable to cause death or injury if swallowed or inhaled or by skin contact, including arsenic, cyanide, fluorine, rat poison)
- Radioactive materials and samples (Classified as dangerous goods such as luminous dials from aircraft)
- Tobacco (including cigarettes, cigars, all tobacco products)
- Any item(s), the carriage of which is prohibited by any law, regulation or state of any federal, state or local government to or through which the shipment may be carried.
1 Dangerous Goods are articles or substances, which can pose a significant risk to health, safety or to property when transported. Metal containers sailing on open seas are exposed to rough weather and variation in temperature and pressure. For example, goods such as high-powered lithium battery can pose a fire risk and start a fire that could destroy property.
