| Futile Pickup | Inability to pick-up at nominated site for any reason beyond control of A2S, e.g. where; (i) consignment is not made available for pick-up including but not limited to due to no one answering the door, consignment not ready for pickup or inaccessibility of entry of the pickup site, or; (ii) consignment contain prohibited goods, or not adequately packed for safe transport, or; (iii) over 35kg dead weight and not palletised, and; (iv) no advice to this effect is received by A2S from the customer 24hours before the scheduled pickup day. | AUD 50 |
| Incorrect Declaration | Incorrect item declaration charges will apply if the carrier declares the item specifics to be greater than stated in the booking. These charges will be based on the charged weight (whichever is greater out of the dead weight and cubic weight) being requoted as the dead weight and the balance calculated.
An additional administration fee of $6.50 will be applied for all under declared and recalculated charges. In addition to the above recalculation of under declared consignments, a $82.50 (including gst) admin fee, as well as any external contractor fee will be charged if any of the following 4 scenarios occur: Allied Express: An additional administration fee of $11.33 will be applied for all under declared and recalculated charges. | |

| Incorrect address | If a consignment has insufficient or incorrect details such that the delivery cannot be made, we will endeavour to resolve the issue by calling the receiver if a telephone contact is supplied on the label, otherwise via online searches including Google and Google Maps. If that fails we will contact the sender to ascertain the correct delivery address details. The fee applicable excludes redelivery charges or subsequent return to sender charges if required but includes telephone charges, storage, handling and reprint of new labels as required. | AUD 25 |
| Redelivery | If the delivery driver is unable to deliver the consignment for any reason beyond control of A2Shipping including either due to insufficient or incorrect address, or due to specific instructions to not leave consignment unattended where there is no receiver to sign for the delivery, and therefore needs to return the consignment to depo, a redelivery charge is payable for the subsequent delivery attempt. | AUD 80 |
